Design Difference
As the original longboard wakeboard, the Nomad started with one simple idea: bigger is better. The rigid belly gives bigger pop, rock-solid stability, and confidence on landings. Thanks to Slingshot's lightweight wood-core construction, the Nomad stays surprisingly nimble for its size, making it the go-to board for big senders, kicker crushers, and air trick fiends who demand durability and performance in equal measure.
The Feel
Thick and Sick
The Nomad is one of our thickest wakeboards making it virtually indestructible, perfect for huge gaps to rails and kicker sends for the boiz.
Perfect Power
The Nomad features Belly Channels making it a powerhouse when locking into an edge and generating speed, making it a go-to stick for kickers and air tricks.
All-Day Comfort
The Nomad's full camber profile and forgiving flex keep you shredding from first pull to last, letting you land hard tricks without killing your knees.
Product Technology
Our wakeboards are built using the latest technologies with the least environmental impact. We make boards you can depend on without breaking your bank.

Continuous Rocker
A smooth continuous curve enhances speed on water, reduces arm fatigue and provides fast, playful board feel for longer sessions.

Ballistic Base
.7mm of bulletproof base material built to handle rails, features and relentless park use. Durability where it matters most.

Belly Channels
Channels running through the belly of the board stiffen the center for added edge hold, generating more speed and pop when railing into kickers and air tricks.

Atomic Wood Core
Vertically laminated lightweight wood core delivers lively flex, rebound and pop, giving the board that smooth, natural flex feel loved by park riders.

Carbon Bedrock Inserts
Lightweight, strong and flexible inserts reduce board weight and maintain consistent board flex underfoot while enhancing pull strength.

Single-Shot Fusion Sidewalls
Built using a one-piece poured urethane construction that bonds directly to the core, providing unmatched durability and dampening with zero fasteners.
FAQ
What board size is the right size for me?
If you're 157–178 cm, go for 150 cm. If you're 179 cm and above, 155 cm is the move. The Nomad runs big by design — its larger surface area gives you more float, stability, and confidence on all features.
What's the difference between belly channels versus chined rails?
Belly channels run through the center of the board and stiffen it for more edge hold and explosive pop, making it great for kickers and air tricks. Chined rails run along the edges and make the board more forgiving on rail features. The Nomad uses belly channels for maximum speed and power.
Benefits of having more or less flex?
A board with more flex offers better feel on park features and allows for easier nose and tail presses. A stiffer board is typically better for higher-energy riders hitting larger kickers and doing air tricks — the Nomad leans stiffer for maximum send power.
