As the female counterpart to the Space Mob boots, the Copycat is an evolution of Slingshot's original park boots with walkable liners, first introduced nearly 20 years ago. FAQ
When should I choose a softer or stiffer boot?
A softer boot is ideal if jibbing is your bread and butter, offering more freedom, flex, and control on rails and presses. A stiffer boot is better for riders who love to send it, providing added support, response, and impact protection for high-speed riding, kickers, and air tricks.
Should I remove the tongue or not?
If you prefer a stiffer boot, keep the tongue in. If you want a softer, more flexible feel, rip that tongue out. Don't throw it away though—if the boot starts to feel too soft over time, you can add the tongue back in to regain support and extend the life of your boot.
What's the deal with the Gummy Straps?
Gummy Straps are a signature Slingshot boot-closure system designed to balance flex and support while keeping you securely connected to the board. They're easy to open and close, and if one ever breaks, you can quickly swap it out with one of the extras that come with your boots.
