When should I choose a softer or stiffer boot?. A softer boot is ideal if jibbing is your bread and butter, offering more freedom, flex, and control on rails and presses. A stiffer boot is better for riders who love to send it, providing added support, response, and impact protection for high-speed riding, kickers, and air tricks.
What's the deal with the Gummy Straps?. Gummy Straps are a signature Slingshot boot-closure system designed to balance flex and support while keeping you securely connected to the board. They're easy to open and close, and if one ever breaks, you can quickly swap it out with one of the extras that come with your boots.
When do I need to upgrade to the Pro Gummy Straps?. Pro Gummy Straps are significantly stiffer than the OG Gummies and offer a more locked-in feel. If your OG Gummies aren't keeping you as connected to the board as you'd like, or if you find yourself overstretching them to get the fit you want, it's time to upgrade.
