John Dreiling's all-terrain pro model: pressable, fast and built to send in the park or behind the boat with the included wake fins.
We built the Johnny Rocket wakeboard to take pro team rider John Dreiling to the moon. John has gapped farther, ridden faster, and gotten wilder than anyone on the team, landing himself a ROTY award in the process. His board, the Johnny Rocket, comes with the most impressive balance of durability, flexibility, traction, and freedom. You can press it hard, send it far, and take it to the boat to get creative on any size wake as well with the addition of our standard wake fins. This board is all-terrain at its finest and has been put through one of the harshest testing processes of any board in the line.
Key Features
Lightning Fast
The Johnny Rocket's tapered tip and tail slice through water like a rocket, giving you insane speed off kickers and cleaner landings.
Edge Master
Precision-cut side rails lock in your edges, giving you maximum control and grip for hard carves, air tricks, and wake-to-wake transitions.
Hustle-Free Flex
Engineered with responsive yet forgiving flex zones, the Johnny Rocket lets you pop, land, and shred all day without beating up your legs and back.
Tech Features
Continuous Rocker
This continuous curve equates to faster board speed on the water, allowing you to ride for longer periods of time with less arm fatigue and delivering an exciting, fast, and fun feel.
Belly Channels
Gives riders an added sense of stability and confidence when approaching the wake or obstacles, as well as more effortless edge control.
Ballistic Base
With .7 mm of bulletproof protection between your board and the surfaces you're sliding across, this base layer is ready for battle. Put to the test daily by some of the most daring park riders in the game.
Atomic Wood Core
Vertically laminated wood core construction is what gives Slingshot boards their signature flex performance. It's lightweight and durable, delivering superior pop, rebound, and that overall magical feeling in the park.
Carbon Bedrock Inserts
Light, flexible, and super strong, our Carbon Bedrock Inserts reduce overall board weight, increase pull strength, and allow for a more consistent flex under foot.
Singleshot Fusion Sidewalls
Our innovative manufacturing process produces unrivaled dampening and durability by infusing the rail into the core of the board with a single shot, eliminating the need for fasteners or staples.

What board size is the right size for me?. If you're 5'2"–5'6" (157–168 cm), anything from 140–145 cm. If you're 5'7"–5'10" (169–178 cm), 145–150 cm. If you're 5'11"+ (179+ cm), 150 cm and beyond.
What's the difference between having chined rails versus a flat bottom?. Chined rails make the board more forgiving for grinding rails and doing butters, but they make it harder to lock into a hard edge. A flat bottom provides better edge hold, optimizing speed, air tricks, and kickers, while chined rails optimize jibbing and butters and help prevent catching an edge during flat-ground tricks.
Benefits of having more or less flex?. A board with more flex offers better feel on park features and allows for easier nose and tail presses. A stiffer board is typically better for higher-energy riders hitting larger kickers and doing air tricks.
