The Seek Select 5.5/4.5 Hood Front Zip wetsuit combines top-tier materials — including recycled thermo linings, Max_Flex, Graphene, and the all-new Exo_Shield — for unmatched warmth and flexibility. Packed with premium features yet lighter than ever, this is the lightest version of the Seek Select to date. Perfectly built for stormy, cold-water sessions when performance and protection matter most.
Key Features
Graphene_Plush 2.0
Graphene is a lightweight, durable and heat-conductive material. Integrated into our thermo lining, it provides up to 20% more warmth compared to ION’s Plasma_Plush 2.0 lining. Made with recycled materials, Graphene_Plush 2.0 also dries quickly, helping to keep your wetsuit comfortable between sessions.
Hot_Stuff 3.0
Hot_Stuff 3.0 combines warmth, comfort and flexibility. Larger loops trap more air for improved insulation, while the lining is made from 100% recycled materials. As the most flexible thermo lining in our range, it moves naturally with you in the water.
One hand zipper
Opens to the left closes to the right. Can be opened and closed with a single hand. Locked with a push button.
Exo_shield
Inspired by nature's exoskeleton, the Exo_Shield print on chest & back is designed to shelter against windchill, ensuring optimal warmth and providing extra grip when wearing a harness.
Ultralight_Foam
Ultralight_Foam is an extreme lightweight and stretchy neoprene foam. It partly consists of oystershell powder. Thanks to its lower density it contributes to heat insulation and better flexibility.
Sweep_Cut
Seam-free shoulder design for maximum paddle reach and freedom of movement.
Cordlock
A soft cordlock allows for one-handed adjustment of the front zip flap, featuring a sleek, minimalistic design that you won't even notice.
Seam_Reinforcement
All stress points are reinforced and secured by melco tape from the inside to ensure a longer lifespan of the seams.
Stitchless_seams
Fully welded and glued seams, reinforced with durable external & internal taping, effectively prevent water leakage and enhance the wetsuit's longevity. 90% stitchless seams, 10% Glued-blind stitching (GBS).
Glued Blind Stitch
Glued and Blind Stitched wetsuits are first glued and then with a curved needle halfway stitched thru the neoprene to prevent water entering the wetsuit.
Fused Edges
Embossed sleeve and leg ends for a sleeker and more durable finish.
Elbow_Hollow
Less material at the crook of the arm increases the freedom of movement when bending the arm.
Knee_Hollow Embossing
Less material at the knee bends increases the freedom of movement when bending them.
Recycled Max_flex
Max_Flex is our most flexible outer lining and is made with 90% recycled nylon. Its unique rhombus structure is designed to deliver outstanding stretch and freedom of movement. The material helps disperse water through small channels, allowing the wetsuit to dry faster between sessions.

Fast-drying and maximum warmth through recycled thermo linings: Incredibly lightweight, durable, and heat-conducting Graphene_Plus 2.0 throughout the entire body, paired with highly flexible Hot_Stuff 3.0 in the shoulders and arms. The printed Exo_shield on chest & back shelters against windchill.
STRETCH
Highly flexible recycled Max_Flex outer lining at the chest, shoulders, and neck, offering 30% more flexibility, quick-drying capabilities, and maximum comfort.
NEOPRENE TYPE
Ultralight_Foam is an extreme lightweight and stretchy neoprene foam which partly consists of oystershell powder.
SEAMS / DURABILITY
90% Stitchless Fully welded and glued seams, reinforced with durable external taping, effectively prevent water leakage and enhance the suit's longevity. Only the neck area remains glued and blind stitched.
FIT
Seam-free shoulders & reduced panel design for maximum freedom of movement. Reduced thickness and increased flexiblity at elbows & back of knees through embossing.
