The COSMIC (4) SLS is Duotone's SLS-tier wave board for advanced to expert riders in powerful ground-swell conditions. It is not designed for onshore waves; its focus is side/side-off and offshore ground swell at high-performance wave spots (Maui, Cape Town, Brittany, Cabo Verde, Ireland, Chile, Mauritius).

Construction: FULL CUSTOM SLS with S_GLASS+ reinforcement. The SLS build uses a lower carbon content than D/LAB; Innegra is replaced by S_GLASS+. The FULL CUSTOM production process delivers consistent weight and flex across every board leaving the factory.
Shape system: Built on the SYNCED CURVES CONCEPT, developed using the proprietary AI_BOARD_3D software. Rocker line, outline and rail curvature are synchronized throughout the board length so the three shape elements amplify rather than cancel each other.
3-STAGE ROCKER: flat mid-section in-between the straps for a stable stance; nose rocker activates right in front of the front straps for front-foot-initiated bottom turns; kickstarter tail-kick (progressive from the last 4–5cm) enables tight, snappy top turns. The COSMIC (4) SLS update adds a touch more nose rocker for improved white-water crossing.
Outline: narrower nose and tail than the GRIP model. Narrower nose delivers more control at speed in ground swell. Narrower tail improves control in higher waves.
Bottom shape: V double concave in the front transitions to a flat double concave underfoot, then mono concave toward the tail for high-speed rail-to-rail stability.

Tech Features
Duotone Premium Strap
High quality closed cell neoprene for maximum longevity. Only black Lycra coating guarantees maximum comfort as well as maximum durability.
Duotone Pro Pads
8-10mm thick duo density EVA (depending on the board type) provides best dampening comfort and control. The higher-density outer layer features our signature heat pressed diamond groove pattern that protects the EVA against abrasion and provides maximum grip level and connection to the board.
Rail Shape
Thinned out rails towards the tail and nose for maximum drive.
Outline
Approx. 6cm longer than the GRIP 3 with a very similar max. width. The narrower nose and swallow tail result in a more curved rail outline in the middle to balance the enormous grip of the 4 fins.
Deck Shape
Reduced dome deck shape results in a more stable/balanced stance, especially in drift & ride conditions.
FULL CUSTOM CNC TECHNOLOGY
The FULL CUSTOM CNC TECHNOLOGY is a full custom technology which is one hundred percent identical to high-end custom made boards. Instead of using a mould to bring the EPS foam core into its final shape each EPS block gets CNC milled.
Rocker Line
Slightly more nose and tail rocker. The tail rocker balances the enormous grip of the 4 fins.
Mini Side Slot Boxes
The mini side slot boxes no longer offer any adjustment to prevent misplacing your fins. Now all adjustability for different riding styles and sail sizes is done through the center fin(s) only - Plug & Play and lighter weight.

Bottom Shape
Progressive double concave V front to back - ideal compromise between performance, manoeuvrability and control.
