Key Features
Recycled Max_flex
Max_Flex is our most flexible outer lining and is made with 90% recycled nylon. Its unique rhombus structure is designed to deliver outstanding stretch and freedom of movement. The material helps disperse water through small channels, allowing the wetsuit to dry faster between sessions.
Plasma_Plush 2.0
Our premium lining provides both heat retention and optimal stretch. The high-pile fabric effectively traps air, ensuring cozy warmth and insulation, while the vertically aligned channel structure swiftly transports moisture away, leaving your suit dry after your break between sessions.
Eco_Stretch
Eco_Stretch is an outer lining made with GRS-certified recycled nylon. Combining flexibility and comfort, it delivers the stretch needed for unrestricted movement on the water.
Hot_Stuff 2.0
The Hot_Stuff 2.0 comes with a plushier feel due to larger loops that trap more air for heat insulation. It is the stretchiest thermo lining in ION‘s entire range.
Silk_Stuff
A silky interior lining ensures a comfortable feel against bare skin. Despite its cozy appearance, it proves to be incredibly durable with its superb flexibility.
I_Foam
Low density I_Foam with peak heat insulation properties containg a mix of limestone and oyster shell powder.
Maki_Tape 2.0
Highly elastic neoprene tape reinforces the seams on the lower body and commonly stressed cuff area from the inside.
Cordlock
A soft cordlock allows for one-handed adjustment of the front zip flap, featuring a sleek, minimalistic design that you won't even notice.
Replaceable Draw Cord
The cord tightens the suit at the shoulder. The high stress on this small component can result in inevitable damage. Now, it can be effortlessly replaced.
Seam_Reinforcement
All stress points are reinforced and secured by melco tape from the inside to ensure a longer lifespan of the seams.
Seal_Tite
A narrow rubber strip on the cuffs of the leg and arm ends, as well as on the collar. Ensures a better sealing and prevents the material from leaking.
Drain_Holes
Prevents water buildup within the wetsuit. The Drain Holes are securely fixed from the inside and do not widen.
Leg_Loops
Velcro patch to offer the option of attaching the Leg_loops. The loops can be wrapped tightly around the ankle to prevent water from rushing into the suit.
Key Pocket
Enjoy the session and stop worrying about your keys – easily store them in the Key_Pocket. Please note: only store water resistant keys in order to avoid any damage.
Water_Barrier
This silicone application inside the front zip flap reduces the amount of water flushing into the wetsuit.
One hand zipper
Open and close your front zip with one hand - it doesn’t get more convenient than this.
Glued Blind Stitch
Glued and Blind Stitched wetsuits are first glued and then with a curved needle halfway stitched thru the neoprene to prevent water entering the wetsuit.
Limestone Neoprene
Limestone is one of the components used in selected neoprene foam formulations. The foam used in these wetsuits is free from petroleum-based chloroprene rubber.
Oystershell Powder
Biocalcium oxide powder derived from discarded oyster shells is used to partially replace limestone in our neoprene foam formulation. The oyster shell powder is incorporated into the foam compound alongside limestone and Eco Carbon Black.
Aqua-α™
Aqua-α™ is a solvent-free, water-based glue. Unlike conventional solvent-based adhesives, it is formulated without added solvents and is used during the lamination process of wetsuit components.
Dope Dying Yarn
Dope-dying infuses dye pigments into molten plastic solution to produce coloured yarns without the dyeing process. This saves tremendous amounts of water while reducing energy consumption and water pollution.
Eco-Carbon Black
Carbon black is one of the components used in neoprene foam formulations. The Eco Carbon Black used in selected ION wetsuits is recovered from scrap rubber tires through pyrolysis and incorporated into the foam compound alongside limestone and Oyster Shell Powder.

Quick-drying with exceptional stretch: The front boasts the highly flexible Hot_Stuff 2.0 thermal lining, while the back features plushy and fast-drying Plasma_Plush 2.0 for wind chill protection. Meanwhile, thin and smooth Silk_Stuff at the shoulders and arms ensures maximum stretch in these high-movement areas.
STRETCH
Highly flexible recycled Max_Flex outer lining at the chest, shoulders, and neck, offering 30% more flexibility, quick-drying capabilities, and maximum comfort.
SEAMS/DURABILITY
Glued-blind stitching enhances the wetsuit's durability. Flexibly taped seams on the entire inside, and reinforced stress points ensure flexibility and durability.
