The Elite Carbon Type 1 12K carbon hard shell in a traditional webbing setup with the TRAD spreader bar, for riders who want Elite support without changing connection system.
For riders who prefer the traditional webbing setup but still want top performance and fit, Ride Engine builds the Elite Carbon Type 1 in a webbing configuration. The 12K carbon Step-2 hard shell is fully wrapped in a neoprene liner with internal closed-cell Fusion foam, and gets the same biometric shaping and scientific fit as its Hyperlock counterpart.
