Its outline looks strikingly directional, yet its contact surface is twin. On the Twin 3BT™ the centre base is slightly wider than the side bases and the edge uplift is lower than in the other 3BT™ flavours; with the medium camber, this makes the Whatever a versatile, responsive all-mountain freestyle board.
It is a unisex board, available in a wide range of lengths and widths to fit riders and boots of all sizes.
Key Features
Twin 3BT™ + SideKick™
Directional Twin 3BT™ combined with a directional outline; SideKick™ tips add edge uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail for easier turn initiation, more float and better handling in difficult terrain.
Medium camber
Medium tip-to-tail camber with medium nose and tail sidebase uplift.
Medium-soft flex
Rated 5 of 10 by Bataleon; ideal if you want a board that works in any terrain, very flexible and agile.
Carbon reinforcement
Carbon fitted centrally from insert to insert for extra torsional stiffness, edge hold and pop.
Backseat inserts
Two extra inserts (4 cm at the front pack, 2 cm at the rear) let you set your bindings all the way back on powder days.
Tech Features
Light Core
A 50/50 blend of paulownia and poplar between two layers of biaxial fibreglass for good press and pop and fast manoeuvrability.
Bi-Ax laminate
A two-way fibreglass weave that is light, strong and playful, keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness.
Dual Super Tubes
A hollow carbon Super Tube on each side of the board enhances pop and gives the camber more snap.
Hyper Glide S base
Durable, fast base that needs little maintenance, and is faster still when waxed.
Flex Walls
Poured urethane sidewalls that absorb shock and reduce chatter and vibration for a smoother ride.
FlipFlop Base
Die-cut base that uses two or more colours per piece to cut waste.
28 inserts
A-grade German stainless steel inserts.
